Rosalind Panda (born on 19 February 1984) is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of Rosalind IT Services, Founder of Rosalind Arts, and Director of Rosalind Constructions, Co-Founder of ROVA Token. She is best known for her contribution towards the growth of art and technology advancement and is described as one of the most forward thinkers in business.[1]
Rosalind is also an oil painter who has donated her artwork to Google, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.[2]
Rosalind has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in America for her contribution in the art and technology field. She was also featured in the International Association of Women and in the top 10 CEOs of 2022 on NY Weekly.[3]
Early life and education
Rosalind was born in the city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on February 19, 1984, and grew up in Burla, Sambalpur, till 1996. Since her childhood, Rosalind has been extremely creative and participated in various competitions, camps, sports meets, and exhibitions.
Rosalind studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Fakir Mohan University in 2001 followed by a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Utkal University in 2005. Thereafter, Rosalind completed her postgraduate coursework in computer applications at the Odisha Computer Academy from 2005 to 2006. She subsequently concluded her academic efforts at Foothill College, California in 2013, where she also worked as a part-time Mathematics instructor and Software Developer.
Career
Rosalind is an Entrepreneur, Global Fine Art Artist, Software Architect, Business Owner, Author and a Public Speaker. She started her career while pursuing her college education. Rosalind founded Rosalind Arts Gallery, wherein she creates oil paintings in landscape,[4] realistic, abstract, contemporary, and modern style.[5]
Rosalind is the owner of Rosalind Business Group LLC the company Rosalind IT Services that offers services such as consulting, staffing, and recruitment. She also owns Rosalind Constructions that specializes in services like steel detailing and architectural drawings. She also established utility based blockchain ecosystem called ROVA Token which helps the world. Her venture helps her clients simplify project coordination, improve delivery schedules, and increase overall project quality.[6]
Rosalind has been in the technology field for more than 15 years of her life. She has worked as a Software Lead and Architect for multiple fortune 500 corporate clients such as Google INC, United Health care, Belk.com, Citi Bank, Blue Shield Health Care, UPMC, PNC Bank, Safire Digital, Auto zone Inc, and North Carolina Water Authority.
Rosalind is also a board member of the non-profit organization River Artworks.
Awards
Rosalind has received several accolades in her career span of over 25 years. She has obtained a number of Rotary Club awards and recognitions in the field of public speaking, writing, singing and artwork creations. Her artwork has been highlighted at the Agora Gallery in New York City, and on her website, Rosalind Arts.[7]
Rosalind is also featured in the International Association of Women as an influencer and has appeared in the top 10 CEOs of 2022 on NY Weekly. She has also been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who for her contribution in the art and technology domain.[8]
Personal life
Rosalind is passionate about helping the community and creating artwork in her free time. She is a brown belt in Taekwondo. She is also skilled at playing the musical instrument harmonium. In addition, Rosalind has received recognition in Indian classical music. She has traveled to India, England, Mexico, Japan, China, and the USA.
Rosalind is fluent in English, Hindi, Odia, Sanskrit, Bengali, Spanish, and Telugu.
