Laurens Tijssen (born August 21, 2001) is a digital entrepreneur specializing in pre-influence, marketing, and websites.[1] He is the founder and CEO of Breathpage, a company offering world-class branding & positioning through comprehensive websites.[2] He is also Head of Fulfillment at Influencer Press, an agency that assists service-based businesses in influencing purchase decisions by integrating science, marketing, sales & PR. With over a decade of experience in the digital industry, Tijssen has collaborated with numerous high-profile entrepreneurs and celebrities across 10+ industries.[3]
Early life and education
Tijssen was born and raised in the Netherlands. He began his entrepreneurial journey at 14 when he received his first online payment through content marketing on YouTube. After finalizing high school in Belgium in the field of logistics, he pursued a degree in computer science at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. Laurens decided to drop out with the mission to provide website services online.[4]
Career
In 2021, Tijssen founded Breathpage, a digital marketing business that offers comprehensive services to help entrepreneurs and businesses succeed in the digital world.[5] Breathpage has now been developed to stand out in the market by delivering world-class branding services alongside their all-in-one solution for website creation, marketing, and business growth, allowing users to streamline their online presence and operations. Through Breathpage and Influencer Press, he has worked with clients across diverse industries, including crypto projects, real estate agencies, SaaS businesses, and e-commerce platforms, and directly with entrepreneurs worth $10M-$100M. He helps entrepreneurs become more powerful by building unshakeable brand authority by leveraging marketing & PR.
Tijssen is Head of Fulfillment at Influencer Press, a position he assumed in December 2023. He specializes in "pre-influence," a strategy that establishes buying beliefs and generates authority before sales conversations. His role involves creating scalable systems that help clients get pre-sold before engaging in direct communication.[6]
Tijssen has over a decade of experience in the digital world.[7] Through his content creation, he has generated over 18 million views and received recognition as a top public speaker during his college years.[8]
Tijssen has been a community developer at Dropship Academy, supporting the online community for the largest e-commerce education business in the Netherlands and Belgium.[9] He later served as the Head of Customer Support at a SaaS startup. He has also worked as a community manager for NFT projects, managing online communities with over 30,000 members.[10]
In addition to these roles, Tijssen has interned at a lawyer’s office, a software business, grocery stores, and the Brabantia distribution center in Pelt. He was also a student-employee at Staalhandel Vaesen, a steel factory for over 3 years.[11]
