Kristan de Graaf (born October 22, 1994) is a Dutch-Emirati serial entrepreneur who revitalized the car rental market in Dubai.[1] He is the founder and CEO of Elite Rentals Dubai, a luxury car and yacht rental company, and Dubai Yacht Booking, a private yacht rental service.[2]
Forbes recently named Graaf one of the 30 Under 30 Middle East, and he is widely regarded as a talented young entrepreneur in the Middle East.[3]
Early life and education
Graaf was born on October 22, 1994, in Amsterdam. Since his father was from Holland and his mother was from Thailand, he was reared as half Thai and half Dutch. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in international business and management from the University of Amsterdam.
Graaf understood the value of money at a young age and was driven to amass cash to ensure a better future. Since he was 17 years old, Graaf has been involved in several business ventures, accumulating massive wealth at a young age. Graaf and his brother Julian de Graaf noticed a gap and need in Dubai's luxury car rental industry and decided to move to Dubai.
Career
In 2016, after migrating to Dubai, Graaf and his brother Kristan de Graaf founded Elite Rentals Dubai, a premium car and yacht rental company in the middle east.[4] In the seven years since its founding, the company's fleet value has increased to more than 140 million AED, with over 93 super & luxury cars.[5] The company has become one of the most recognized car rental companies in Dubai and the Middle East.[6]
Following the initial success of Elite Rentals Dubai, Graaf founded Dubai Yacht Booking, a private yacht rental business.[7] The organization is the top-quality yacht charter company in Dubai, providing exceptional experiences with packages ranging from hourly and daily bookings to special events and tours. The business owns a fleet of twenty-seven Diamond Yachts.[8]
Graaf has additionally been in a well-liked program about affluent men's lifestyles with ladies and entertainment.[9][10] The documentary movie was a massive success and even gained popularity in the Netherlands.[11][12]
