Tian Boothe (born July 24, 1990) is an American film director, producer and musician. She is best known for her films Shattered Dream, E.R. Compliance and E.R. Emotional Release.[1] Boothe received her BSc in Information Technology from UCC. She focuses on narrative romance and social issues. Her film, Fall Break, was nominated as Top Student Film. She produced the Rebel Film Festival award winning independent film, Shattered Dream in 2018.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Biography
Boothe was born on July 24, 1990 in Jamaica, West Indies. She attended a private single-sex catholic school Immaculate Conception Preparatory School before advancing to Immaculate Conception High School in Jamaica. Boothe then attended University of the Commonwealth Caribbean in Jamaica where she completed a BSc in Information Technology. In 2013, Boothe relocated to the United States to study for a MSc in Software Engineering at Nova South Eastern University but after she discovered her passion still resided in the arts she embarked on her new career as a filmmaker.[9][10]
She quit her Software Engineering career and decided to move to California to study film in 2016 at Los Angeles City College for an Associate of Arts in Cinema Production.[11]
Boothe was exposed to and coached by multi-award-winning producer Kia Kiso during her last semester of film study. Since then Boothe has continued to work and developed material in a variety of genres with well-known artists and musicians and has never looked back.[12][13]
She then studied for an MA in Humanities at American Public University.

Boothe is the mother of American actor Tai Boothe and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. In 2021, she became an American Citizen.
