Leo Taylor-Jannati (born December 12, 1991 as Leo James Taylor-Jannati) is an English entrepreneur and content creator.[1] He is best known as the founder/host of the podcast Living in the Hyphen.[2]
Early life and education
Leo was born on December 12, 1991, in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England.[3] His father was a businessman and his mother was an artist. He was educated at Bury College where he received 4 A levels in English Language, English Literature, Drama and Media Studies.
Career
Actor
Leo started his acting career in his teenage years and attended several theater classes while shooting various short films. At the age of 24, he moved to London to pursue a full time career in acting. During this time, Leo participated in several independent productions such as The Waiting Room, Bastion and Corruption II.[4]
Entrepreneur
Leo is the founder and CEO of Xanadu Media; a group of companies focused on digital content creation, film & TV production, events, marketing and sponsorship.
Content Creator
Leo’s content focuses on the topic of identity and the theme of living between two worlds. His content is focused on stories of people that live hyphenated lives.
Living in the Hyphen
Leo is the founder/ host of the podcast Living in the Hyphen.
The podcast’s inaugural season premiered on 23rd February 2023 and consisted of 13 episodes. Season 2 is expected in Fall 2023.
Personal life
Leo has an interest in sports, particularly in darts, football and boxing. He enjoys attending international football tournaments and is a supporter of Bolton Wanderers FC.
