Content creation

The provision of information to any medium, but most particularly to digital media, with the intention of serving an end-user or audience in a particular setting constitutes "content creation." For the purposes of self-expression, distribution, marketing, and/or publishing, "anything that is to be communicated via some media, like speaking, writing, or any of different arts" is considered "content." The maintenance and updating of websites, blogging, article writing, photography, videography, online commentary, the management of social media accounts, and the editing and dissemination of digital media are all examples of typical kinds of content production. According to the findings of a Pew poll, content production may be defined as the process by which individuals add material to the world wide web.
