Katie Melissa Ryan (born November 26, 1993) is an American digital entrepreneur, e-commerce seller, e-commerce coach, and social media influencer.[1] She is the founder of Elite Automation, a Done-For-You Amazon store company, and the founder and CEO of Tanzanite AI Solutions, which offers AI-powered solutions for businesses.[2]
Melissa is a renowned Amazon seller and an expert in developing and expanding online businesses on a global scale.[3] She is highly regarded for her insights and proven methodologies in the e-commerce domain.[4] She is the creator of the Amazon masterclass “Blessed To Sell,” empowering entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills to establish their online e-commerce stores on Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and Etsy.[5]
Early life and education
Melissa was born in Massachusetts and later moved to Carmel, California, at age 6. She completed her primary and secondary education within the Carmel school system. In 2015, Melissa earned a degree in psychology from Monterey Peninsula College. In 2020, she furthered her education at Columbia Business School, focusing on banking, finance, and corporate law.
Career
After graduation, Melissa launched an online retail store on Amazon. The store surpassed $10,000 in sales within its inaugural month.[6] Over the years, Melissa has expanded her portfolio, managing multiple eCommerce stores and overseeing client operations on platforms such as Shopify, Etsy, and eBay, collectively amassing eight figures in revenue.[7][8]
Functioning as an e-commerce business mentor and coach, Melissa is the creator of the Amazon masterclass "Blessed To Sell," designed to empower early-stage entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills for establishing successful online retail businesses.[9] This comprehensive program covers topics ranging from navigating seller platforms to advanced selling models, product research, outsourcing, and business psychology. Since its inception in 2016, Blessed To Sell has guided over 600 students across ten countries.[10][11]
In 2020, Katie Melissa founded Elite Automation, providing e-commerce automation services. The company creates and manages automated Amazon FBA stores for clients.[12] The company's strategic partnerships with major brands facilitate the provision of hot-selling products, ensuring clients benefit from passive income streams, while Elite Automation handles all aspects of store management.[13]
