Internet celebrity is a celebrity that has gained or maintained popularity and notoriety via the use of social media platforms (also known as social media influencers, social media personalities, internet personalities, and simply influencers) that is recognised as an Internet celebrity. Social media has enabled individuals to reach a larger audience across the world thanks to its growth in popularity. Online platforms such as Twitch, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and VSCO are all popular places to find famous influencers nowadays. Other popular sites include Reddit and Reddit Pro.[1][2]
Frequently, internet superstars serve as "lifestyle coaches," encouraging others to adopt a certain way of life or mindset. Consequently, they are important influencers or multipliers for trends in a variety of disciplines, including fashion, cosmetics, cuisine, technology, video games, Esports, politics, music, sports, and entertainment, to name a few examples. Influencer marketing is a kind of marketing in which businesses hire internet superstars to promote their goods to their fans and followers on their social networking sites.
