Edmund Gray (born April 13th, 1977), popularly known as Grateful Edmund is an American rapper, songwriter, producer, drone pilot, and businessman. Grateful Edmund is the founder of StealthPort and Grateful's Stealth Hot Honey. He is also one of the fastest-growing rappers hailing from Raleigh, known for his latest EP titled Grate District of Raleigh. [1] Grateful Edmund is credited for spearheading the success of one of the first African-American companies in the drone aviation industry - StealthPort which leverages drone technologies for delivery purposes. His sub-company Grateful's Stealth hot honey is known for offering a range of delicious hot honey sauces.[2]
Early life
Grateful Edmund was born on 13 April 1977 in Butler GA. He was raised by a single mother, Barbara Gray in Washington, DC.
Career
Grateful Edmund currently runs two successful businesses that he built from the ground up - StealthPort and Grateful's Stealth Hot Honey. He also has prior experience in the marketing industry and has worked for the industry giants in the mobile businesses including LG, Google, and Motorola.
Music career
Grateful Edmund began his professional career in the music industry in 1994. He formed a rap group with 2face the Wild Boy, a radio personality. He faded out of the music profession to work in the marketing industry. He returned to the music industry in 2018, following a long absence, with the singles Free ya mind and Every N**ga Is a Star. In 2019, he released Turn Up on Sunday and the EP Grate District of Raleigh, which was his most successful music release.
In 2020, Grateful launched the REBRANDYOURSELF PODCAST, a podcast that highlights up-and-coming small companies, promoting the young entrepreneurs. He returned to the music industry a year later, releasing Lo-Fi Music, Jacuzzi Glass, and Kuddly Dragone, a chill hop album. In the year 2022, he plans to release 45, a new hip-hop album.
