A radio personality (in American English) or a radio host (in British English) is a person who works in the radio broadcasting industry as an on-air personality. A radio personality who presents a radio programme is referred to as a radio host, while in India and Pakistan, a radio jockey is used to refer to such a person. Disc jockeys, often known as "DJs" for short, are radio personalities that present and play specific choices of recorded music on the air. Personalities associated with broadcast radio include talk-radio hosts, AM/FM radio show hosts, and satellite radio programme presenters, among others.

Someone who introduces and discusses musical genres, conducts a discussion radio programme that may accept calls from listeners, interviews celebrities or guests, or provides news, weather, sports, or traffic information is known as a radio personality. Depending on the situation, the radio personality may transmit live or utilise voice-tracking technology. Radio personalities are increasingly expected to complement their on-air job by publishing material online, such as on a blog or on another web forum, in the twenty-first century. This may be done to earn extra money or to establish a connection with the audience. With the exception of small or rural radio stations, the majority of music radio broadcasting is done through broadcast automation, which is a computer-controlled playlist that broadcasts MP3 audio files that contain the entire programme, which includes music, commercials, and pre-recorded comments from a radio announcer, among other things.
