The publication Entrepreneur is a magazine and website published in the United States that covers topics such as business, management of small businesses, and entrepreneurship. The very first issue of the magazine was released in 1977. Entrepreneur Media Inc., with headquarters in Irvine, California, is the company that is responsible for its publication. The publication releases ten new issues each year, all of which are sold on newsstands and are also accessible via subscription. It is now being published or has previously been published under licence in a number of countries throughout the world, including Mexico, Russia, India, Hungary, the Philippines, and South Africa. Jason Feifer serves as the publication's editor-in-chief, while Peter Shea is the publisher of the publication.

Since 1979, Entrepreneur magazine has been compiling and publishing an annual ranking of the best 500 franchise businesses. In addition, the magazine was responsible for the publication of a large number of other lists and awards, the most notable of which was the Entrepreneur 360, which was designed to recognise companies that had mastered both the art and science of expanding their enterprises. The study of more than fifty data points is used to analyse businesses. These data points are classified into five categories, which are as follows: revenue and customers, management efficiency, innovation, financial evaluation, and business valuation.

The magazine's website, Entrepreneur.com, was first made available to the public in 1996. Since then, it has seen significant expansion and now includes a variety of stories, competitions, and links to other magazines and spin-offs.

Competing with the likes of Forbes Magazine, Fortune, and Fast Company, it has earned a reputation as one of the most influential business periodicals in the United States.

Entrepreneur compiles and publishes an annual list called the Franchise 500. This list rates 500 of the most well-known franchise businesses in the United States by using a submission and review procedure. The first edition of the Franchise 500 was released in 1979, and it has been done so continuously since then.
