Daniel Apke (born October 10. 1994) is an American serial entrepreneur, e-commerce marketing professional, real estate and land investor, educator and podcast host. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Apke Land and Land Investing Online.[1]
Apke shares his knowledge, experience, opinions, and information about online businesses, investment, and real estate topics through his Youtube channel which has thousands of subscribers. He has been featured in several leading publications and magazines including Yahoo Finance,[2] Seeking Alpha,[3] The Wall Street Journal, Finanzen.net,[4] Morning Star,[5] and Benzinga.[6]
Early life and education
Apke was born on October 10, 1994, in Cincinnati, Ohio, born to John and Ellen Apke. His father was a businessman and owned Apke Total Restoration. At the age of 12, Apke started working under his father’s guidance, helping him in their family business. He was instilled with the values of hard work and patience at a very young age and grew his inclination towards entrepreneurship.
Apke struggled with grades and was not much interested in his studies. After completing his high school at Sycamore High School, he moved to Israel to study, travel and volunteer. During the year 2013-2014, Apke studied at the American Jewish University and undertook a program Aardvark Israel Study Abroad. During the course of his program, Apke underwent several courses and internships and volunteered for the local community including serving at a Jerusalem Alzheimers home, and a local high school. He also pursued an internship as a social media manager at Joy Records, a local record label start-up.
After returning from Israel in 2014, Apke enrolled at Ohio University, pursued a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and majored in strategic leadership and management.
Career
During the years 2014-2017, in his graduation days, Apke took up several job roles as an intern and trainee including, an account management intern at Palmer Holland and a sales candidate at Ralph and Luci Schey sales center. After completing his graduation, Apke started his entrepreneurial journey. He purchased several real estate rental properties and paved the way for his career and early business days. He started dropshipping businesses and side hustles like flipping auction products on e-commerce sites like eBay and Facebook marketplace.[7]
In 2017, Apke joined Palmer-Donavin manufacturing company as an outside sales trainee and was responsible for presenting new products and customer acquisitions, product promotion, contract negotiation, problem-solving, sales and vendor activities, inventory management, and establishing relationships with customers. In the year 2018, Apke got promoted as the Territory Sales Manager and served in the position for over 3 years, before leaving the company in February 2021, to pursue full-time entrepreneurship.[8]
In June 2019, Apke founded Urban Bikes Direct, an electric scooter, and bike retail company. Later in August 2021, Apke sold the company to a California-based investor.[9]
In December 2020, Apke and his brother Ron Apke, established Apke Land, a firm that specializes in buying and selling vacant lands across several states in the United States. Apke currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the company.[10]
In December 2021, Apke co-founded LandInvestingOnline.com, an educational platform that aims at educating people on how to start and run a profitable Land flipping business.[11]
Apart from these, Apke along with his brother Ron Apke is also the host of a podcast named “The Real Estate Investing Podcast”. He also owns a drop shipping business, a publishing company, under the name of bestselling romance author, Charlotte Young, and a blog and youtube channel, wherein he shares raw opinions and information about online businesses, investment, and real estate topics.[12][13]
Personal life
Apke currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed playing several sports and is a football and basketball player. Apke is passionate about wildlife and travel.
