Bhavik Sarkhedi (born September 2, 1992) is an Indian content writer, journalist, author, digital marketing consultant, and content strategist.[1] He is best known as the founder of several blogs and content marketing agencies, including Write Right, Estorytellers, Taletel, Kalam Kagaz, and Dad of Ad. Sarkhedi is the chief marketing officer at Content-Whale.[2][3]

Sarkhedi has authored books, including "The Weak Point Dealer," "Will You Walk a Mile?" and "The C to T of Content Marketing." His novel "The Unproposed Guy," co-authored with Suhana Bhambhani, has gained popularity in the humor and comedy genre.[4]

With a decade of experience in the writing industry, Sarkhedi is an expert at writing personal essays and opinion pieces.[5] He has a strong presence in major publications like The New York Times, Forbes, and Entrepreneur, covering entrepreneurship, technology, travel, and digital marketing. In 2016, Google established a Knowledge Panel in honor of Sarkhedi, recognizing him as a top content writer globally and in India.[6][7]

Early life and education

Sarkhedi was born on September 2, 1992, in Gujarat, India. He developed a passion for writing at a young age, starting with a diary at age 9, which eventually led to a collection of 12 personal diaries. Sarkhedi's language skills have earned him titles such as 'Word Maniac' and 'Content King.'

He completed his higher schooling at P.V. Modi School in Jamnagar, Gujarat. During his school years, Sarkhedi excelled in elocution and extempore and had interests in music and stand-up comedy.

In 2010, Sarkhedi enrolled at Marwadi University, where he pursued a degree in mechanical engineering, graduating in 2014.

Career

Sarkhedi is an independent writer and storyteller focusing on entrepreneurship, small business strategy, artificial intelligence, ChatGPT, and career guidance. He started his writing career in 2013 and has since contributed extensively across various domains, including AI, marketing, technology, health, and travel.[8] His articles have been featured in notable publications such as HuffPost, Elite Daily, Buzzfeed, The Times of India, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and YourStory. Sarkhedi has also contributed to various high-profile corporations, websites, and startups, such as Tripoto, LinkedIn, Quora, Inc42, BroBible, Digital Donut, eSparkBiz, Life Hack, and Tech in Asia, among others.[9]

In 2016, Google established a Knowledge Panel in his honor, recognizing him as a top content writer globally and in India.[10][11]

In 2016, Sarkhedi established Write Right, a comprehensive content writing service that grew to become a leading company in India. Subsequently, he founded several other blog and content marketing agencies, including Estorytellers, TaleTel, Bloggism, Kalam Kagaz, and The Content Ideators. In March 2023, all of Sarkhedi's companies were acquired by Content-Whale and its subsidiaries, where he serves as the chief marketing officer.[12]

By 2017, Sarkhedi had published over 1000 articles online, earning recognition as one of the top content writers in India and globally in 2018.[13] In 2019, Sarkhedi ventured into personal branding and digital marketing and quickly established himself as an expert. In 2020, he became one of the most recommended professionals in digital marketing and was a featured speaker at a TEDx event.[14][15]

Personal life

Sarkhedi resides in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In 2020, he married Darshana Somani, and the couple has a daughter named Raaha.
