Anish Singh Thakur (born September 24, 1989) is an Indian entrepreneur, financial influencer, investor, trader, educator, and YouTuber. He is the founder and CEO of Booming Bulls Academy, a stock market training institute.[1][2]

Owing to his practical approach and strong strategy formulations for building profitable trading approaches, Thakur has been featured in several leading media publications, including The Times of India,[3] the Economic Times, the Hindustan Times,[4] and others. He has also attended the Forex Expo Dubai 2021 as a VIP guest and has been credited with The Millenium Brilliance Award 2021 for the Best Trainer in the Stock Market Industry.[5][6]

Early life and education

Thakur was born and raised in Korba, Chattisgarh, as the son of Anjana and Deepak Singh Thakur. He graduated from the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Chattisgarh. He enrolled in the Bhilai Institute of Technology in 2007 to study engineering. Because he desired to be his boss, he dropped out of college in his final year to launch his own business.

Career

Thakur started his career at 19 as a field agent for a marketing company. After working with various marketing and business process outsourcing companies, he joined Technobizz Group of Companies as the managing director.[7][8]

In 2019, Thakur established Booming Bulls Academy[9] with co-founders Saurabh Khaspuri and Abhirup Sekhri as a training institute for stock market trading.[10][11] Utilizing his years of self-learning, experience, and theoretical and practical expertise on forex, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and stock markets, Thakur began delivering training to stock market enthusiasts.[12] His lessons aimed at advancing knowledge in a simple and accessible language, avoiding the difficulty of using technical jargon.[13] The organization is believed to have mentored over 15,000 students worldwide through its Elite Traders Live Mentoring Programme, which offers online and offline training.[14] In less than three years since its beginning, its YouTube channel has gained over 1.27 million viewers due to its conventional trading techniques.[15][16][17]
