Abdallah (Abe) Salloum is an senior executive in the industrial manufacturing industry, with professional experience spanning Mazda Motor, TRW Automotive, Harman International, and General Electric. Abdallah specializes in business transformation, building effective organizations, processes and systemization.[1]

Education and career

Abdallah Salloum received a bachelor’s degree from William Tyndale College, and an MBA in strategic management from Davenport University.[2] While completing his studies, he was employed for ten years at Mazda Motor Manufacturing.[3] He continued his work in industrial manufacturing following graduation, transitioning into leadership roles.

From 1999 to 2009, Salloum worked as a global director for TRW Automotive Holdings, a supplier of automotive systems, modules, and components.[4]

Following his tenure with TRW, Salloum was a vice president of operations Harman International automotive division Europe and was based in Germany.[5] In 2012, he returned to the United States of America as Harman Americas’ vice president and general manager.[6]

Salloum joined General Electric Oil and Gas in 2014 and was focused on advanced manufacturing technology, operational efficiency, and manufacturing cost in support of $18.5 billion in annual sales.[7] In 2017, Salloum joined General Electric Healthcare (GEHC), where he drove global product performance trasnformation, instituted supplier management competency and led the MRI supply chain division transformation.[8]

Additional professional experience and activities

Salloum is a member of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Industrial Engineering Advisory Board.[9]

Salloum is fluent in English and Arabic, with competency in conversational French and basic German.

Salloum resides in Dearborn, Michigan.[10] He has interests in cycling, home remodeling, and reading.[11] He also donates his time and resources to charitable organizations.[12][13]
