William Rosellini (born 11 July 1979) is an American entrepreneur, expert investment advisor, and business executive.[1] He currently serves as the president of CytoImmune Therapeutics, a renowned biotechnology firm known for its bespoke immunotherapy solutions.[2]

Rosellini has over two decades of experience in the Medtech and life sciences industries and has spearheaded the success of numerous biotechnology firms including Perimeter Medical, Nexeon Medsystems, and Sarif Biomedical LLC, to name a few. He was also on the Marathon board of directors and chaired the Audit Committee.[3]

As an expert investment advisor, Rosellini focuses on emerging technologies and indulges himself in finding ways to overcome existing obstacles in the business sector by resolving early-stage management gaps and compensation concerns, developing sustainable pricing models, and managing corporate securities and capital plans.[4]

Early life and education

Rosellini was born on 11 July 1979 to Nancy and Mike Rosellini in San Antonio, Texas, USA. His mother was an elementary school teacher, hailing from Dallas, Texas, and his father a second-generation dentist hailing from Oak Cliff, Texas.

In 2001 Rosellini acquired a BA in Economics from the University of Dallas and then went on to pursue an MS in Accounting, an MBA, and an MS in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also holds a JD from Hofstra University; an MS in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California; and an MS in Computational biology from a joint program at Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Rosellini is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Dallas in neuroscience.

During his college years, Rosellini was a member of the 1994 and 1997 Junior Olympic teams - represented Arizona Diamondbacks and was also a writer for baseballamerica.com

Career

Rosellini started his career in 2005 when he founded MicroTransponder, a medical device firm based in Dallas, Texas. After seven years he established yet another venture - Lexington Technology Group where he served as the CEO for over a year and then left to join Document Security Systems.[5]

In 2013 Rosellini was appointed as the director of commercialization at the University of Texas. During his tenure of over two years there, he became the first employee hired to manage and deploy $16M in foundation funding.

In 2016, Rosellini co-founded Nexeon Medsystems, a medical device company known for offering a range of innovative neurostimulation products. In 2019 he co-founded Perimeter Medical Imaging AI known for commercializing advanced in-procedural medical imaging tools. He left this company in 2020.

Rosellini created CytoImmune Therapeutics, a biotech company based in California, in 2018. He is the company's current CEO and is credited with developing a unified therapeutic platform.[6]

Awards

Rosellini was named to the 40 Under Forty Awards in 2011.
