Uğur Turan (born April 23, 1994) is a Turkish health tourism manager known for his contributions to the dental aesthetics and health tourism industry. Turan currently serves as the manager of Dental Estetik, a leading dental clinic located in Istanbul, Turkey.[1] His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in expanding the reach and operations of Dental Estetik, making it one of the most successful dental clinics in the region.[2]
Early life and education
Turan was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, to Mustafa and Seher Turan. He attended Zuhal Primary School and later FMV High School for his secondary education. After completing his high school education, Turan pursued a degree in economics from Uludag University, which he obtained in 2017. During his undergraduate years, he had the opportunity to work in the United States as part of the work and travel program for four months.
Career
After completing his undergraduate degree, Turan began his career working as a sales and marketing specialist for a multinational corporation. In 2017, Turan joined Dental Estetik as a health tourism manager. Since then, he has been instrumental in expanding the clinic's reach and operations in Turkey and beyond.[3]
As a family member of Dental Aesthetics, Turan has played a key role in Dental Estetik's success in the health tourism industry. Under his direction, the clinic has performed an average of more than 1,000 successful surgeries each month for people from Europe, the Turkish Democratic Republic, and the Arabian Peninsula.[4]
In addition to his role at Dental Estetik, Turan has been actively involved in various professional organizations related to the health tourism industry. He is also a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, where he talks about the latest developments and trends in dental aesthetics and health tourism and shares his knowledge and insights.[5]
Personal life
Turan married his wife, Gamze Turan in 2020.
