Shree Ganesh Remedies Limited (SGRL) is an Indian pharmaceutical company, specializing in the development, manufacture, and sale of pharmaceutical intermediates, bulk drugs, and specialty chemicals.[1] The company is a subsidiary of Ganesh Group of Industries and is headquartered in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, with operations in over 30 countries.[2]
SGRL has been in the industry for over two decades and is recognized as a leading supplier of API Intermediates and Speciality Chemicals. It has received quality certifications from ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. It is also one of the preferred partners for CRAMS and CMO.
History
The Chariman, Mr. Chandubhai M Kothia started his journey with the startup of its first pharmaceutical unit in Ankleshwar, Gujarat in 1991. In 1995, SGRL was incorporated as a Private Limited Company, and started its operations by setup of second unit in 2004.[3]
In 2005 SGRL received its ISO accreditation, and the company’s global reach was initiated.
In 2011 SGRL Chairman Mr. Chandu Kothia received a special recognition award from the MSME secretary.
In 2013 SGRL Chairman Mr. Chandu Kothia received a First prize National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship from the Shri Mr. Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India).
In 2017 SGRL got its IPO recognition as a public limited company on MSME Board, and a year later, it expanded its operations by the acquisition of 3rd Unit which was a neighboring plant and merged with its first unit.[4]
In 2018 SGRL received a ZED Certification (Zero Effect Zero Defect) from the ministry of MSME for zero defect production facility.
In 2020 on 25th of November, the company entered into the mainboard on BSE platform.

Shree Ganesh Remedies Limited is manufacturing Basic and Advance API Intermediates of more than 30 APIs with its expertise on more than 10 chemical reaction technologies.
- Specialty & Fine Chemicals
Product portfolio of fine chemicals covers intermediates and chemicals for various speciality chemicals for uses in electronics industries, process industries, flavour and fragrances, and as reaction catalysts.
- Aroma Chemicals
SGRL portfolio covers flavors and fragrances intermediates and actives and has delivered products to various aroma chemical manufacturers worldwide.
- Polymer Chemicals
SGRL has been an active manufacturer and supplier of cost effective and value added additives for Speciality Polymer industries.
- Agro Chemicals
With key reaction technologies for agro chemicals such as chlorination, hydrogenation, grignard reactions SGRL’s products serve as starting material and formulation ingredients for many agro formulations.
