Seif El Hakim (born July 21, 1984) is an Egyptian serial entrepreneur, investor, business coach, mentor, speaker, and columnist. He is widely recognized as the co-founder and global CEO of Momentum Group of Companies, as well as serving as the Vice President (VP) of Riversong EMEA, a subsidiary of IMG Technology Group.[1][2]
El Hakim is also the founder and CEO of prominent business ventures such as 10xVibez Holiday Homes, 10xBuzz, and Seif El Hakim Co. Over the course of his 15-year career, he has garnered extensive international experience in diverse industries spanning Turkey, the UAE, the CIS Region, the UK, South Korea, and Egypt. As an esteemed business coach and mentor, he holds membership in the Arab Young Leaders Organization in Dubai and serves as a mentor at the American University in Dubai.[3]
El Hakim's achievements have been acknowledged through numerous prestigious awards and accolades. Early life and education
El Hakim was born and raised in Giza, Egypt, where he discovered his passion for sports at a young age, initially focusing on kung fu. Through dedicated training and perseverance, Seif evolved from a sports enthusiast to an elite athlete, culminating in his participation in an international Mr. Olympia Men's Physique competition, where he achieved a Top 10 placement.
El Hakim graduated with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications engineering from Cairo University and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States of America.
Driven by his passion for entrepreneurship, finance, and personal and professional success, El Hakim specialized in entrepreneurship and personal and professional success at the Wharton School.
Career
El Hakim started his career in 2006 as a network quality analysis engineer at Orange Egypt. From 2008 to 2017, he held various positions at Samsung Electronics,[5] leading the business and organization for over nine years as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the CIS region. During his tenure, he achieved significant turnarounds and received extensive local and international recognition and awards. Prior to his role as CMO, El Hakim worked as a global product strategist and regional marketing manager at Samsung Electronics HQ in South Korea, overseeing successful product launches and marketing initiatives in international markets.[6]
In 2014, El Hakim co-founded Momentum Group, where he currently holds the position of Global CEO. Momentum Group is the largest independent Residential Leisure and Real Estate developer and sales and marketing group in the Middle East and Africa. The company specializes in various sectors, including real estate development and investment, real estate sales and marketing, tourism, health and fitness, beauty, food and catering services, and event management.[7]
El Hakim is also the founder and chief executive officer of 10xVibez Holiday Homes, the world's first platform and investment vehicle for elite boutique holiday homes, with headquarters in Dubai. Additionally, he established 10xBuzz, a global bespoke marketing agency headquartered in Dubai, UAE,[8] offering comprehensive support services to assist in the creation, growth, and expansion of brands.[9]
Furthermore, El Hakim is the founder and CEO of Seif El Hakim Co., an organization dedicated to crafting businesses and nurturing leaders across various industries, including real estate, consumer electronics, retail, tourism, e-commerce, sports and fitness, fast food and restaurants, turnaround management, event management, and media.[10]
Since November 2018, El Hakim has been serving as the Vice President (VP) for Riversong Tech EMEA, a prominent provider of smart devices. El Hakim is also a member of the board and jury panel of Fashion Factor Dubai,[11] organized and administered by Marvels Events.[12][13]
Drawing on his 15 years of experience, El Hakim established the Alpha Movement to combat societal issues and guide individuals towards success in life and business. By sharing principles and fostering a community of like-minded individuals, the movement aims to help people achieve significant advancements and become influential leaders, attaining massive success and wealth.[14][15]
Personal life
El Hakim resides in Dubai, UAE. Growing up, he lived and worked in six countries and traveled to more than 45 countries.
