Sean Grevy (born April 2, 1989) is the founder and CEO of 43 Oak and an American entrepreneur. He prides himself on being a disruptive force in the Advertising Industry.[1] Based in New York City, Sean has been involved in advertising since his days in high school in Philadelphia. In 2011, he moved to New York City to join the iHeart Media team, where he partnered in Celebrity Brand Endorsement Deals. In 2016, sensing a striking need for Client Advocacy, he started his own company, 43 OAK, which is focused on media buying and planning committed to best serving the client’s needs. 43 OAK is a champion of what is most important to the growth of the client’s business and what makes the best financial sense for them. His devotion to making a difference has not only helped serve him as an advocate for his clients, it has also led him to try to address a glaring disparity in his first love, ice hockey. His nonprofit, the 43 OAK Foundation,[2] was formed with the aim of assisting and guiding minority and underprivileged young athletes from the NYC Metropolitan area. As a youth hockey coach in Manhattan, he witnessed firsthand the challenges these young people had to deal with. This need for change was coupled with his desire to make a difference in the lives of kids seeking to find their place in the sport they love and the pursuit of an alternative path through life. The 43 Oak Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to achieving these goals. Sean Grevy is on a quest to help as many young athletes as possible to play ice hockey and realize their dreams.[3]

Grevy has created a large network over the course of his career to provide businesses with rapid exposure and has been featured in various media outlets, including Yahoo,[4] London Daily Post,[5] The American Reporter,[6] NY Weekly,[7] Good Day New York, Fox 5 NY, and KYW News Radio Philadelphia, to name a few.

Early life

Grevy was born on 2 April 1989 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Career

Grevy started his career in 2007 as an inside salesperson at Total Fusion Media. Within a year, he was promoted as the Regional Sales Manager and worked for over four years with this firm.

In 2011, Grevy joined Clear Channel Media + Entertainment as an account executive. He worked for almost two years with this firm developing business strategies and integrated marketing campaigns. After representing nine radio stations in NYC, Grevy decided to leave the corporate world and joined Power Play Marketing & Media, a full-service advertising agency as a VP of business development, where he served for over a year and then left to start his entrepreneurial journey.

In his personal life, Sean became the head coach of NYC Cyclones Ice Hockey in 2012.

From there, Grevy co-founded NYC Roots Hockey Program in 2015 a program focused on diversity in hockey in the New York City hockey community.

In 2016 Grevy founded 43 OAK, a marketing and advertising agency headquartered in New York. A year later, he also launched the 43 Oak Foundation with the goal of assisting underserved and minority youth in urban communities around the country by furthering education through the sport of Ice Hockey.
