Samuel Leach (born March 18, 1991) is an English entrepreneur, investor,[1] author, educator, forex trader, TED speaker, influencer, and business owner. He is the founder of Samuel and Co Trading, which is a global online training and software business. Leach is best known for his YouTube trading documentary series “The Real Forex Trader” and as the author of an Amazon bestseller titled “The Formula For Success”.[2]
Leach is widely recognized as one of the leading financial educators and influencers in the United Kingdom and is an active contributor and writer to financial publications such as Forbes[3] and Entrepreneur Media.[4] Leach has been featured in several leading media publications and magazines including Forbes, CityAM, Reuters, and others.[5]
Early life and education
Leach was born on March 18, 1991, in Hertfordshire. He grew up beside his brother James Leach. Leach attended the Knutsford Primary School in Watford and then enrolled in Bushey Hall School to study Information Technology and Networking. Leach graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in Marketing and Advertisement. Alongside completing his graduation, Leach started studying financial markets.
During his graduation, Leach was successful in converting his £2,000 student bursary into £170,000 and won the Flare Ignite for Technical Excellence In 2014 for his business concept Samuel and Co Trading.[6] In 2014, Leach was further recognized by the University Dean for his Entrepreneurship and performance gaining the Deans Award for Entrepreneurship 2014.
Career
In 2013, during the final year of his graduation, Leach landed an internship at C Hoare & Co, which is the leading independent private bank in the United Kingdom.[7] He joined as a summer intern and grew to the role of assistant project manager at the age of 22.[8][9]
Leach led the foundation of Samuel and Co Trading in 2012, during his graduation from the University of Hertfordshire.[10] After gaining significant knowledge about financial markets, Leach left his job at C Hoare & Co. and began to focus full-time on his trading company.[11] Samuel and Co. trading is a global online training and software business known for its financial trading programmes.[12] Since its inception, Leach serves as the director of the company and maintains it as his current position. Leach is well known for his skills in building trading algorithms and advanced training programmes based on the Stock and Forex market.[13]
With an experience of over a decade, Leach specializes in building trading algorithms and training programmes based on stocks and forex markets.[14] Leach has also released a documentary series “The Real Forex Trader” on his YouTube channel, through which he shares his own journey as a forex and stock trader.[15] He has authored the book “The Formula For Success”, which was published in the year 2019 and is an Amazon bestseller. The book draws lessons from Leach’s firsthand experiences and shows the readers how to analyze patterns, map behaviors, and trap the opportunities that can lead to assured success.[16]
As a successful trader, social media influencer, and financial contributor, Leach has gained over 100,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel.[17] As a keynote speaker and educator, Leach has shared his knowledge and experience in improving financial literacy through TED talks and his YouTube videos with over thousands of people from 60 different countries.[18]
