Obed Dominguez (born April 17, 1999) is an American entrepreneur and a community advocate.[1] He is the founder of Sunforce Solar which specializes in delivering long-term sustainable solar solutions to the residential market in America.[2][3] Dominguez has been often featured in the high-tier news media and publications for his work in the solar energy industry. He has been recognized for his business and negotiation skills, and is a strong advocate of clean and green energy.
Born in Mexico, Dominguez had an inclination towards becoming a lawyer and politician in his youth, eventually entering the New Mexico State University in 2017 for Criminal Justice. He created Sunforce Solar to bring awareness about Solar energy and offer a sustainable alternative energy source for both residential and commercial implementations.[4]
Under Dominguez’s leadership, the company modeled his philosophy to offer an affordable and sustainable source of electrical energy to help their clients save on their electricity bills in the United States. Within a few years of its launch, Sunforce Solar gained a significant market share because of Dominguez’s value investing principle for his clients and better customer service.[5]
Early life and education
Dominguez was born on 17 April 1999 in Chihuahua, Mexico.[6] When he was 5 years old, his family moved to the United States. He attended Las Montañas Charter High School for education. Right from his childhood, he wanted to become a lawyer.
Career
After completing education, Dominguez started his career in April 2018 as Energy consultant at Erus Energy, a solar and home energy management company. He remained with the company for 6 months and joined Sungrade Solar.[7]
While working for solar companies, Dominguez found that there is an opportunity to offer better customer service and better implementation of solar energy systems. In April 2020, he founded Sunforce Solar to offer quality solar energy systems for residential and commercial purposes. Dominguez focused on understanding the needs of companies and people who want to utilize sustainable solar energy sources. The company helped their clients to transition from their current electric sources to its affordable solar energy sources.[8]
In an interview with The American Reporter, Dominguez shared that he is willing to launch NFT along with his business partner Samuel Barraza and soon also going to publish a book.
