Niraj Pandey is an Indian politician who is currently Chhattisgarh State President at National Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of Indian National Congress(INC or Congress) since 2nd October 2021.
Personal Life
Niraj was born on September 16, 1990, in Manendragarh District, Chhattisgarh. He did his schooling from S.Y.P.H.S., Khongapani in Manendragarh, Chhattisgarh. He then pursued his BE degree in civil engineering from GEC, Jagdalpur. His father is a school teacher and mother is a housewife. His family had no political background, but he was attracted to politics from his student days.
Political Career
He joined the National Students Union of India (NSUI) during his early days of college in 2008. He became the State Coordinator of National Students' Union of India Chhattisgarh in 2014 and was nominated State General Secretary at National Students' Union of India Chhattisgarh in 2019.
On 02 October 2021, Niraj was nominated as the Chhattisgarh State President of NSUI.
Niraj wants to work on the empowerment of the student community so that they can be engaged further in learning and can get more democratic learning experience.
