N.D. Reddy is a technology entrepreneur and seasoned business executive with over four decades of experience in startups, SaaS technology, product management, and venture capital. He is renowned as the founder and CEO of SutiSoft, Inc., an enterprise software solutions provider. Before SutiSoft, Mr. Reddy served as the Founder, Chairman, President, and CEO of Alliance Semiconductor Corporation (ALSC) a NASDAQ listed company, which was named among the top 500 Forbes Largest American Companies (2001).[1]

Early life and education

Reddy was born and raised in India. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad. In 1968, he moved to Fargo, North Dakota, to pursue a master’s in electrical engineering from North Dakota State University, graduating in 1969. Reddy obtained an MBA from Santa Clara University in 1974.

Career

Reddy started his career in 1983, as the co-founder, president, and CEO of Modular Semiconductor Inc.[2]

In 1985, Reddy founded Alliance Semiconductor Corporation and served as its Chairman, President, and CEO until 2005. Under his leadership, Alliance Semiconductor Corporation released its initial public offering (IPO) in November 1993, followed by a market capitalization of $2 billion within three years. Forbes Magazine recognized Alliance Semiconductor as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., while the company also earned a place among the most profitable on the Fortune 500 list.[3]

Throughout his career, Reddy held various management positions at several organizations, including RCA Technology Center, Fairchild Semiconductor, Four Phase Systems, and Synertek, contributing significantly to semiconductor product and technology development. Reddy was a general partner of Alliance Venture Management (AVM) LLC, investing in early-stage technology-related companies across the telecommunications, semiconductors, EDA, and biotechnology sectors.[4]

Additionally, he served on the boards of several companies, including Maverick Networks, Malleable Technologies, Orologic, Platys Communications, and Magma Design Automation.[5]

In 2009, Reddy founded SutiSoft, Inc., a cloud based business management solutions provider based in Sunnyvale, California. Under his guidance, SutiSoft has developed and launched over 12 innovative software solutions catering to various businesses, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations, across industries, such as healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, financial services, and others. Notable software solutions include SutiSoft Spend Management Platform (SutiExpense, SutiAP, SutiProcure, SutiInvoice, SutiTravel and SutiIMS), eSignature Platform (SutiSign, SutiCLM, and SutiDMS), SutiHR, SutiCRM, SutiAMS, SutiDAnalytics, SutiDesk, and more.

Awards and recognitions

  • In 1995, N.D. Reddy was honored as the "Entrepreneur of the Year" in Northern California, sponsored by Inc. Magazine, Ernst & Young, and Merrill Lynch.

Personal life

N.D. Reddy resides in Los Altos Hills, California.
