Kevin K Walker JR (born 15 November 1985), popularly known as Ktborderline, is an African-American musician. Ktborderline incorporates a unique style that is inspired by the hip-hop genre. He has gained much popularity in the country with the release of his debut song Fresh in the Club and is best known for his eclectic songs such as Amerikkk, Push, Hands Up, Never Trust, Jungle, and Last Song.[1]

Ktborderline’s music is available on all the music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, and YouTube. He has also been featured in several media outlets such as Influencive, London Daily Post, Yahoo, ED Times, Insider, Disrupt Magazine, and others.[2]

Early life and education

Ktborderline developed a passion for music at an early age. When he was in sixth grade, Ktborderline started engaging in multiple music-related activities and was influenced by BOX, a trending music channel. He graduated from high school in 2004.

Career

Ktborderline started writing music when he was in high school and began his professional career as a hip hop artist right after graduating from high school. A year later, he met Gaetano “Tommy Gunnz Piccirilli, another hip hop artist in Nashville, TN, where they worked as construction workers. Having a mutual interest in rap music, Ktborderline and Tommy Gunnz formed a rap group that lasted for over seven years. Later, the artists parted ways due to personal differences.[3]

Ktborderline’s debut music video - Fresh In The Club, gained much popularity, crossing over a million views within a week.[4]

Ktborderline’s songs are reflective of his sacrifices and struggles and follow his journey to becoming a self-made musician. His songs portray the condition of Black People in America, describing police brutality and racism.[5]

Ktborderline is the owner of Real Dreams ENT, an independent record label. He has been featured in various media outlets including Rolling Stone, VladTV, Music Choice, WorldStar, Thisis50, and The Source Magazine.

Apart from his career as a rising hip-hop artist, Ktborderline is also passionate about social media marketing and is often seen experimenting with the concept of Search Engine Optimization.[6]

In 2020, Ktborderline started his career as an actor. He appeared in the second season of the TV series "Raising Kanan" and is signed to Big Dreams Entertainment, a record label based in New Jersey.

Additionally, he creates daily "how to" video reels on Instagram, amassing over 26K followers.
