Julian Jansen (born 12 November 2002) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a Left-Back Defender for Sancataldese Calcio and is represented by agent Godwin Falix. Jansen began his professional career at Sancataldese Calcio and became the first Dutchman to defend the colors of the Sancataldese in the Serie D championship.[1]

Since the beginning of his career, Jansen has been associated with several other clubs such as Bolton Wanderers u18, and HBS Craeyenhout u19.

Early life and education

Jansen was born on 12 November 2002 to Emma Dirksen and John Jansen in Guildford, England. His father works for the multinational conglomerate Shell and his mother is an entrepreneur running Emmahomestyling.com. Jansen grew up in England, Netherlands, Austria, and Singapore and traveled a lot due to his father's work.

Jansen left his home at 15 to go to boarding school in the UK and to pursue his dream of becoming a football player. He completed his higher education at Ellesmere College, Abbey College, and recently graduated from the British school of The Hague.

Club career

Jansen, at the age of 15, dedicated himself to honing his skills as a footballer and interned at the professional football club Bolton Wanderers among other local clubs. He started his career as a professional football player when he was 18 years old. He signed his first contract with Serie D for Sancataldese Calcio in Italy, and his debut match was against Real Agro Aversa.

In 2012, Jansen signed with ANZA Singapore. He played for his club for three years, during which he was also a member of the team that represented ANZA in the JSSL Arsenal super 7s competition. Jansen’s team became DIV 2 and 1 champions. In 2018, Jansen joined IHM Football Academy, where he played for over a year under the guidance of ex Liverpool player David Raven.[2]

As of 2021, Jansen is represented by agent Godwin Falix and is a member of Sancataldese Calcio (SERIE D), where he plays Left Wingback Defender.

Personal life

Jansen is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
