Josh Adler (born February 10, 1999) is a Canadian entrepreneur, writer, and philanthropist. He has founded ventures in product consultancy, digital infrastructure, systems consulting, and bioscience-related research. His work focuses on designing tools, products, and frameworks for individuals operating outside conventional educational and institutional systems.
Early Life and Education
Adler was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in early childhood, he often clashed with traditional learning models and later described his education path as nonlinear.
By his early teens, Adler left traditional school frameworks at the age of 15 and pursued university-level tutoring through private mentorships in disciplines such as thermodynamics, physics, and business theory. He was later admitted to the University of Toronto, but dropped out shortly after.
Career
Adler’s ventures span a range of sectors at the intersection of systems design, performance optimization, and emerging technology. These include product development, systems consulting, bioscience research into attention and resilience, and experimentation with robotics and defense-adjacent technologies. Some of these projects operate in stealth mode or as limited-access consultancies, with a shared emphasis on rethinking tools for neurodivergent or nontraditional users.
Writing and Philosophy
Adler publishes essays on topics including neurodiversity, resilience, systems thinking, and founder psychology.
Philanthropy
Adler is the founder of Project Hyperaware, a multinational philanthropic initiative supporting ADHD awareness campaigns in underserved regions. One of its initial programs focuses on building community understanding of neurodiversity in Kenya.
