John McSherry (born September 13, 1980) is an accomplished real estate broker, investor, coach and former marketing & design professional.[1] He serves as a licensed real estate broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, specializing in real estate sales and redevelopment opportunities in Manhattan and Queens, New York. He has expanded his business to Florida as well and is ranked among the top 1% of agents nationwide.
McSherry’s marketing and design skills have significantly impacted his business as an investor, developer, and agent. He is consistently ranked as a top agent in his office and has been named Top 20 Under 40 by LIBOR’s YPN - Young Professional Network. He also serves as a YPN Past president and Board of Directors member.[2]
Early life and education
McSherry was born in Manhasset; Long Island, NY and was raised throughout the NY Metro area. Over the past 16 years, he has transformed himself from a homeless addict in Philadelphia to a multi-millionaire real estate mogul, investing in projects nationwide. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts, a Graphic Design degree from the School of Visual Arts and an Associate Real Estate Broker license from the New York Real Estate Institute.
Career
McSherry began his career in marketing and design as a freelancer and established McSherry Design LLC in 2005. He worked on various projects, including as a leading packaging designer for companies such as Donna Loren, Planet Toys and 2(X)IST for over 11 years.
After finishing a real estate course from the New York Real Estate Institute in September 2013, McSherry joined Century 21 American Homes as a licensed real estate salesperson. Until July 2015, he worked for the company, accumulating knowledge, comprehension, and experience in the real estate industry.
McSherry's marketing and creative skills have largely influenced his real estate business. With his abilities, he aids clients in imagining fresh and exciting investment opportunities and successfully offers property to potential buyers, resulting in swift sales at premium prices.
