Jesse John Francis Clark (October 19, 1983) is an American business executive entrepreneur, and author. Clark is best known for his strategic networking talent, digital expertise, and advanced knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He is the founder of Fixx Pharmaceuticals, HemoAware Corporation, and Clark Capital LLC.

Fixx Pharmaceuticals is a biotechnology company that specializes in gene editing and is dedicated to finding a cure for Hemophilia. HemoAware Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with inherited bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, and technology. Clark Capital LLC is a company that deals in real estate.

Clark is a Yale University certified digital marketing expert and has also acquired a CRISPR: gene editing certificate from Harvard University, a Bok teaching certificate from Harvard University, an artificial intelligence certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Early life and education

Clark completed his high school education from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in 2002 and then enrolled in the Quinsigamond Community College to pursue an associate’s degree course in criminal justice. After graduating in 2006, Clark went to Becker College where he did a bachelor’s course in legal studies for two years.

In 2008, Clark enrolled in the Massachusetts School of Law and pursued a three-year-long course while participating in several activities. He was also a member of the Delta Theta Phi fraternity.

Clark has also done several courses including artificial intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, teaching and learning strategies for higher education and CRISPR (gene editing applications) from Harvard University, and a digital marketing course from Yale University.

Career

Clark began his career in 2001 when he joined Corcoran Management Company as a lifeguard. After working for two years with this company, Clark joined Sturbridge host hotel and became a head lifeguard.

In 2004, Clark founded Xtreme Web Designs, a web development company to grow the online presence of local small businesses.

In 2005, Clark joined Arnowitz & Goldberg law firm as a paralegal and worked there for three years before joining another law firm, Harmon Law Offices P.C. where he worked for two years.

In 2010, Clark started his first entrepreneurial venture by founding Sureshot Videography, a wedding video making company. Within a year of its inception, Clark opened a luxury portrait studio in Millbury, Massachusetts. Sureshot Videography soon gained popularity and became the largest wedding videography company in New England shooting up to seven weddings a day.

Clark was appointed as the CEO of Flash House Media in 2014. Flash House Media is a leading digital marketing firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Clark founded HemoAware Corporation in 2018, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the people affected by Hemophilia and bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, and technology. This NGO also advocates the safety of Genentech’s Emicizumab (Hemlibra). Under Clark's leadership, HemoAware Corporation launched several successful programs for the community including HemoFlights and a financial assistance program.

In 2019, Clark launched Jesse John Francis Clark LLC, a company that manages media publications along with creating online courses and arranging speaking engagements.

Clark left HemoAware Corporation in 2020 to start a biotechnology company, Fixx Pharmaceuticals, that works on creating a curable treatment for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders through gene editing. In the same year, Clark indulged in real estate with his firm Clark Capital LLC.

Clark’s first book, titled Scam Artist, will be released by the end of 2020. This book is inspired by a scandal concerning his company Sureshot Videography, which attracted a lot of media attention. Clark was at the center of a salacious scandal in 2012 when one of his clients, who was dissatisfied with his company’s work, contacted Connecticut’s NBC Troubleshooters and complained about the delay. Connecticut’s NBC Troubleshooters involved Boston NBC affiliate station that broadcasted a concurrent story tagging Clark a Scam Artist, which inspired him to write this book.

Clark also runs a lifestyle blog titled JetSet Jesse that documents his travels across the world.

Personal life

Clark was born with severe Hemophilia A. He is a passionate advocate for people living with Hemophilia and other related bleeding disorders and supports people affected by it through his non-profit. Clark currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has four children, Danica, Brennah, Owen and Noah.
