Jason Portnoy (born 27 October) is a Canadian-American entrepreneur, business growth consultant, speaker, and podcast host. He is the founder of JPORT Media, a leading marketing and advertising firm based in Montreal, and the host of the Perfectly Mentored podcast.[1] Portnoy also consults with business owners by teaching them growth and hyper-profitable wealth building principles using online marketing.[2]

Early life and education
Portnoy was born on 27 October in Montreal, Canada, to David and Marianne Portnoy. He grew up with two siblings - Michele and Karen. After completing his high school education, Portnoy enrolled in Concordia University in 2003, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Career
Portnoy started his career in 2006 as a sales and marketing coordinator for Trux Accessories. He left Trux by the end of 2008 with the aim to start his entrepreneurial journey.[7]
In 2009, Portnoy founded True Rivalry, a sports apparel brand. The brand soon became popular and was sold in over 250 stores across North America (including Urban Outfitters). True Rivalry was also often seen being worn by various athletes and celebrities as well as featured in movies and tv shows.[8]
In 2016, Portnoy left True Rivalry in order to concentrate more on his career as a digital marketing expert. A year later, he established JPORT Media, a marketing and advertising firm specializing in helping brands gain market traction and scale their businesses. The company offers distribution services like paid media and email marketing.[9]
Portnoy also runs a growth consultancy program, where he assists his clients in developing profitable growth strategies. He also hosts Perfectly Mentored, a top-rated business podcast featuring guests like Gary Vaynerchuk, Daymond John, Randi Zuckerberg, Grant Cardone, Rebecca Minkoff, Harley Finkelstein, Dave Asprey, and many others.
Personal life
Portnoy is married and has two children named Ryan and Chloe.
