Inna Yukhimchuk (Russian: И́нна Юхимчу́к; born 24 January 1990) is a Russian singer, songwriter, and vocal educator. She is known for her performances in the United States, Europe, and China, as well as for developing a vocal training method titled "Vocals On."[1]

Early life and education

Inna Yukhimchuk was born on 24 January 1990 in Russia and grew up in a musical family. She began her music education at an early age and completed her studies in 2006 at a music school in Noyabrsk, Russia. Yukhimchuk moved to Moscow to continue her education and, in 2012, graduated with a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the Institute of Modern Arts.[2]

Career

Yukhimchuk’s career includes international performances in the United States, Europe, and China. From 2015 to 2017, she served as the lead vocalist for the band Newton and The Fates, performing at venues in Los Angeles, including The Hotel Café. During this period, the band released an EP titled Atomic Soul.[1][2][3]

In 2020, Yukhimchuk joined the band "Pepperhedz," with whom she performed in various venues across China. The band gained popularity in the region, and in 2024, Yukhimchuk resumed her solo career with the release of her debut album, A Stands for Able, which includes themes of resilience, love, and hope. In 2020, she also appeared on the Chinese television program Universal Show on CCTV4.

Vocal training method

Yukhimchuk is the creator of "Vocals On," a vocal training method designed to integrate traditional vocal pedagogy with recording technology. She has taught this method to singers and vocal instructors in China, Europe, and the United States, focusing on a structured approach to technique improvement. In 2019, Yukhimchuk received the Order for Merit in Education, Culture, and Art at the Grand Gala Award in France in recognition of her contributions to vocal education.

Competitions and judging

Yukhimchuk has participated in various international vocal competitions and has earned awards such as first place at the Golden Time Talent competition in London in 2024. She has also served as a jury member for events including the Miami Film Festival, where she evaluated music compositions in the Best Soundtrack category.

In addition to her musical performances, Yukhimchuk has appeared on television programs such as X-Factor in 2013 and Universal Show in 2020 on CCTV4.
