Dr. Trenese McNealy is an American entrepreneur, author, and life coach, best known for her expertise in program and project management.[1] She is the CEO of Dr. Trenese L. McNealy, LLC., a professional service and management consultation company. With over 10 years of experience in program, project, and grant management, Dr. McNealy has a Certified Associate in Project Management.[2][3]

McNealy has been featured in numerous publications, including Women's Health, The Chicago Journal, New York Weekly, Entertainment Monthly News, New York Wire, and US Reporter. She has also been a guest on various television shows and podcasts, including The Connect Show Texas, Black Connections, LLC, Business Talk Library, ShaibabyTV, and WTOC 11 Mid-Morning Live, as well as The Legendary KYOK 1140AM/92.3 Gospel Radio Station, the VoyageATL Podcast, and The Joseph Bonner Show Podcast.[4][5]

Early life and education

Dr. Trenese McNealy was born on April 15, 1984, and raised in Riceboro, Georgia, a small town located in Liberty County. She is the daughter of Ray and Mahalia Gordon.

McNealy attended Georgia Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design with a Minor in Management. She then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Later on, McNealy earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Project Management from Walden University, where her research focused on the effectiveness of project management methodologies in non-profit organizations.

Career

McNealy began her career at her family-owned business, Best Cut Lawn Care, before moving on to work at 100 Black Men of America, Inc. for 12 years in various roles within the Programs Department.[6]

In 2020, McNealy established her own professional service and management consultation company, Dr. Trenese L. McNealy, LLC., where she focuses on helping moms maintain a healthy work-life balance to achieve their goals and provides organizations with consulting services through successful program and project management strategies.[7]

Aside from her work as a project management professional and entrepreneur, McNealy was also the CEO of LaShay’s DESIGNS, an online fashion boutique, which she operated for 14 years and closed in 2023.[8][9][10]

Personal life

McNealy is married to Brian McNealy, and they have three children: Brielle, Bryce, and Brayden McNealy. They currently reside in Hampton, Georgia. In her free time, Dr. McNealy enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and starting new ventures.
