He pursued dual degrees, and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine for his Medical degree and the Wharton School for his Business Administration degree. He finished his residency specializing in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and then finished his sub-specialty training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Career

After the completion of his sub-specialty training in Chicago, Dr. Louis Hampers then earned a position with the faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He became an Associate Professor there in 2007.[5] He was responsible for roles there that included Section Head of the Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and also Medical Director of the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.[6]
