Dr. Goh is a prolific author, having penned 15 books on education, business and motivational skills.[1][2][3][4][5]

Various universities worldwide, including SABI University, South-West State University, and California International Business University, have honored him with honorary professorships and Emeritus titles. In 2002, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace of Queensland, Australia, by the Department of Justice and Attorney General.[6][7]

Early life and education

Dr. Goh was born on November 26, 1962, in Singapore. Following his father's sudden passing due to illness, Dr. Goh faced early challenges in his life. He attended Rangoon Road Secondary School and completed his Cambridge General Certificate of Education.

Dr. Goh graduated with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and a Full Technological Certificate in Electrical Engineering from the City and Guilds of London Institute, U.K., in 1983. Continuing his studies in the United States, Dr. Goh obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dubuque, Iowa, in 1990. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management from Victoria University in 2014 and completed his Doctor in Business Administration in 2002.

Career

Dr. Goh started his career in 1985 and has since amassed extensive experience working across diverse industries in Australia and Singapore, including auditing, accounting, aviation, construction, defense, engineering, healthcare, hospitality, vocational and educational training, higher education, legal, police, security, telecommunications, procurement and contract management, transport and logistics, and various Australian Federal and State government departments which include Civil Aviation Safety Authority, State Solicitor’s Office, Department of Justice, Department of Education and Training, Health Support Services, Department of Health, Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Western Australia Police Force.[8] Notable organisations include M1 Limited, CWT Group of Companies, MAE Engineering Limited, National University Hospital Limited, National University of Singapore.

The Department of Justice and Attorney General, Queensland Government, Australia, appointed Dr. Goh as Justice of the Peace in December 2002.[9][10]

From 2007 to 2019, Dr. Goh held various leadership positions and served on the board of several organizations, including Australian Corporate Consultants, Australian Certificated Auditors Agency, Australian Quality Training Consultants Pty Ltd, Australian Institute of Certified Practicing Trainers Ltd, Australian Institute of Trainers and Assessors, Certified Management Consultants Pty Ltd, Making Business Work, National Institute of Australia Pty Ltd, Australian LifeSkills College, Institute of Mindfulness, and Study Tour International.[11][12][13]

Goh is known for developing innovative learning programs such as the Australian LifeSkills program, Create a Successful Life program, Discovering Your True Self program, Happiness@Work program, Mind Power program, Mindfulness Communication, Positive Thinking program, and Employability Skills program.[14][15][16][17][18]

In 2013, Dr. Goh joined the Marr Mooditj Training Aboriginal Corporation in Western Australia to improve the quality of education and training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in remote communities.[19] His efforts led to the organization winning the National Australian Training Awards and the Western Australia Small Training Provider of the Year awards.[20][21][22]

Since 2015, Dr. Goh has been developing programs to support at-risk learners at The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres, Inc.[23][24][25][26]

Dr. Goh is an acclaimed author. His debut publication, "Applied MBA Management by Application," was published by Dorrance Publishing Company in 2007. Since then he has published 15 books on education, motivational skills, business and personal development.[1]

Dr. Goh resides in Perth, Western Australia, with his wife, Jasmine Koh, whom he married on September 1, 1995. The couple relocated to Australia in May 2000.
