Dike Ajiri (born July 17, 1971) is an American serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and professional pickleball player.[1] He is the owner of many businesses, including JunkMan, a Las Vegas Junk Removal, and Mini Bin Rental Company. A few of his other companies include Water Filtration Stations and Premier Floor Care.[2]

Ajiri has turned around several struggling firms into thriving organizations throughout the course of his career and has a penchant for uncovering hidden jewels of businesses in underperforming niche industries. Ajiri is ranked in the top ten in the world for Professional Men's Senior Singles Pickleball, and he competes in events all over the country.[3]

Early life and education

Ajiri was born on July 17, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri, but now lives with his family in Urbandale, Iowa. He was a High School All-State Football Player in 1989 and a High School Tennis Doubles Champion in 1989. Ajiri attended Miami University in Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 1994.[4] Ajiri's athletic achievements at university continued in 1993 when he was named a Collegiate All-American Rugby Player and the All-American team's MVP. In addition, he was an All-Midwest Rugby Player and the Chicago Lions Rugby Club's Captain.

Career

Ajri began his career in 1996 in the management industry. Eventually, after honing his business skills he grew through the ranks and became the Director of Operations at LMMD in 2003.

Ajiri, in 2014 started a new role as Director of Operations for Trinity & Independence Transportation Inc. where he was in charge of all aspects of Operations and Deliveries. In 2019, Ajiri took ownership of JunkMan[5] which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and handles junk removal, mini bin rental, demolition, and fencing. In 2020, Ajiri continued his entrepreneurial journey and bought Premier Floor Care.

Ajiri, in 2021 launched the Dike Ajiri Scholarship for Racial Equality[6] with the goal to give back to deserving students and create awareness for the issues facing minorities in the education system.[7]
