Dhanashree Verma (born September 27, 1996) is an Indian choreographer, dancer, and YouTuber.[1] Dhanashree is best known for her fusion dance performances that blend traditional Indian dance forms with contemporary styles. She has gained a massive following on social media platforms, particularly on YouTube and Instagram, where she shares her dance videos, tutorials, and vlogs.

Dhanashree gained widespread recognition after she choreographed the dance sequence for the song "Vaathi Coming" in the Tamil film Master (2021). She has also choreographed for several music videos and performed in various stage shows and events.

Early life and education

Dhanashree Verma was born on September 27, 1996, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to a Marathi family. She was raised in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and completed her schooling at the St. Xavier's High School in Pune.

Dhanashree showed an early interest in dance and began learning Bharatanatyam at the age of six. She later pursued a degree in dentistry at Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai and became a practicing dentist.

However, Dhanashree's passion for dance remained strong, and she continued to pursue it as a hobby. She began to share her dance performances on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, which led to her gaining a large following.

In 2018, Dhanashree decided to pursue dance as a full-time career and left her dentistry practice to focus on building her career as a choreographer and dancer. Personal life

Dhanashree Verma is married to Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The couple got engaged on August 8, 2020, and tied the knot on December 22, 2020, in a private ceremony in Gurugram, Haryana.

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra had met in 2019, when Dhanashree was working as a choreographer for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore, for which Yuzvendra played as a spinner. They started dating in early 2020 and got engaged later that year.[4]

Dhanashree is a dog lover and has two pet dogs named Tia and Messi, whom she often features in her social media posts. She is also a fitness enthusiast and regularly shares her workout routines and fitness tips with her followers.

Dhanashree has been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression and has used her platform to promote mental health awareness.[5] She has also been actively involved in various charitable initiatives and has collaborated with organizations to raise funds for causes such as COVID-19 relief and education for underprivileged children.
