David Woroboff is dedicated to finding new ways to improve America’s health and safety by using the latest technology. As the founder and current CEO of 24/7 ​​Call-A-Doc, which is a nationally recognized leader in the telemedicine and remote mental health industry, David uses his management and innovative skills to do just that.[1]

Early Life and Education

David Woroboff received his bachelor’s degree with a specialization in business administration from SUNY Albany. He then went on to the University of Southern California, where he completed his Master's Degree in Computer Engineering. He also holds an executive business degree from the University of California in Los Angeles Anderson Business School, and finished the University of Chicago’s Booth Business School’s marketing program.

Career

David worked at Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Hughes Electronics, early in his innovation career. There, he served as the Corporate Director of Strategy. He went on to serve in many positions, including the VP & General Manager for Attivio and the VP of Pitney Bowes Software. David was also the ground manager on a small team that created the DirecTV system. Today, he is CEO of the company he founded, 24/7 Call-A-Doc.[2]

Philanthropy

David Woroboff is just as passionate about philanthropy as he is about innovation. He is an advisor on many boards, and is particularly interested in organizations that are designed to help young individuals to follow their dreams.

David has now formed The David Woroboff Scholarship for Entrepreneurs, which provides scholarship funding to a student who plans on becoming an entrepreneur.[3] Using this scholarship, he is trying to bolster awareness for the hardships faced by students following their journeys to careers as entrepreneurs, and to give an opportunity to a star student in the process.[4]
