Lach Black founded Clearblow in February 2021 as a healthcare technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, California.[5] Black’s initial strategy was to develop remote technology and telehealth solutions specifically targeting respiratory health management.[6] Drawing upon personal experience in spirometry, Black recognized the outdated nature of existing technology and hence wanted to revolutionize and modernize the device.[7][8]

Clearblow Spirometer

Clearblow introduced a Spirometer, a portable digital lung monitoring device.[13][14] The device functions as a rapid test, aiding in the early identification of respiratory health issues such as chronic pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.[15][16] It is a Bluetooth-enabled portable device that utilizes advanced technology to convert exhaled air into an acoustic signal.[17] It measures lung capacity and FEV% scores, providing real-time data to users via a mobile application.[18][19] The test results can be shared with healthcare providers through the same application.
