Ayeni Ekundayo Olorunfemi (born 7 May 1984) is a Nigerian digital marketing expert, investor, author, and keynote speaker.[1] Ekundayo is regarded as a ‘B2B sales guru’ in the country for helping his clients gain traction and scale their businesses. He specializes in lead generation, mobile marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing (SMM), inbound marketing, and digital advertising.[2][3]

Ekundayo has over a decade’s experience in serving B2B and B2C businesses across various verticals as a digital marketing consultant.[4] His clients span across different industries including, Telecoms, Real Estate, Religious Organisations, Financial Institutions, Government Parastatals, and even State Government.[5]

Ekundayo currently serves as the investor and CEO of BusinessPlus Services, along with holding a digital marketing specialist position at CareerXpress.[6] He is also an Adjunct faculty at the Mountain Top University, where he teaches a specialized SMM course.[7]

Ekundayo is the author of the 100 Online Monitoring Tools and Digital Marketing and the Business, two of the highly acclaimed ebooks. He is also a frequent speaker and is often seen at conferences, talk shows, and podcasts sharing his expertise as a subject matter expert. Ekundayo has been featured in several media outlets including African Business Radio, Daily Advent,[8] Guardian,[9] Sun News, Business Today, Yahoo,[10] Latestly,[11] and others.[12]

Early life and education

Ekundayo was born on 7 May 1984 in Ilorin. In 2001 he enrolled in the Federal University of Technology in Minna, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Technology with a concentration in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Later, Ekundayo, in 2014, did a digital marketing course at Harvard University.

Career

Ekundayo started his career in 2011 when he joined Say It Better Media as a head of operations. He worked for almost two years at this firm, during which he was responsible for branding and management, working alongside clients such as UBA, Transcorp, My DoubleDouble Nigeria, Rainmakers UK, Chicken Republic, Vetiva Capital, A & G Insurance, and others.[13]

In 2012, Ekundayo was appointed as the CEO of Business Plus Services, a renowned Nigerian digital marketing firm. In 2014 he co-founded EmailForest, where he served for over five years focusing on KPIs - open rates, clicks through, and retention rates. He later sold the platform with profitable margins.[14]

In 2017, Ekundayo began teaching a digital marketing course as an adjunct professor at Mountain Top University. A year later, he also became a digital marketing specialist for CareerXpress,[15] handling operations in the EMEA region.

Apart from that, Ekundayo has also released two eBooks sharing his expertise in the digital marketing industry. He has also published multiple articles along with getting featured on several talk shows, youtube videos, and podcasts.[16]

Ekundayo is fluent in English, Yoruba, Hausa and Pidgin.
