Vera Astashina (born August 6, 1986) is a Russian American nurse practitioner and aesthetic nurse injector best known for her Russian lip injection technique.[1] She is the founder of PrimaVera Medical Aesthetics.[2]
Early life and education
Astashina was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She grew up in an entrepreneurial family and immigrated to the US at the age of 21. Astashina has traveled around the United States, living in Philadelphia, South New Jersey, and Las Vegas. Today, she resides in Los Angeles, California.
In 2010, Astashina received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; in 2014, she received a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She is currently licensed by the California State Board of Nursing.
Career
Astashina started her healthcare career in 2010 at a Level 2 Emergency Department in Las Vegas. She maintained her career in the ER for five years before transitioning to aesthetic medicine.
Today, Astashina is an aesthetic expert and an accredited master injector who has been in the industry since 2014. Best known for her "Russian Lips" injectable technique,[3] Astashina also specializes in treatments like botox, dermal fillers, threads, microneedling, and chemical peels. She caters to an expansive beauty clientele from across the US and around the world.
Astashina is the founder of her aesthetic practice in Los Angeles called PrimaVera Medical Aesthetics.
