Stuart (Stu) Frost is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and innovator recognized for his leadership in data management, analytics, and emerging fields in causal AI. He is the current Chief Executive Officer of Geminos, where he drives advancement and innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence and industrial operations.
Education and Career
Frost completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering.[1] Soon after graduation, Frost founded SELECT Software Tools, successfully guiding the company through its NASDAQ initial public offering (IPO) in 1996.[2]
Frost has built a diverse career portfolio of innovative technology ventures, which profiles advancements in the AI, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and data analytics sectors. He founded DATAllegro, a pioneering data warehousing company, which was acquired by Microsoft for $275 million.[3] Following the acquisition, Frost led Microsoft’s billion-dollar data warehousing group, further cementing his expertise in large-scale data solutions.
Previous ventures include founding, board, and Chairman leadership and strategic roles at a number of startups, including Maana (an IIoT knowledge platform), NarrativeWave (wind farm energy analytics), and SWARM (AI agents for IoT applications).[4]
He is the current Chief Executive Officer of Geminos, where he spearheads efforts to advance causal AI technologies tailored for real-world business applications.[5]
