Shim Ching (born: June 2, 1969; Kobe, Japan) is a Canadian plastic surgeon who is best known for pioneering facial procedures, breast procedures, body procedures, asian cosmetic procedures, nonsurgical procedures and related procedures.[1] Ching is a double board certified plastic surgeon and widely regarded as one of the leading plastic surgeon in Hawaii, who also travels for patient’s needs.[2] He has completed several procedures for Minimal Scar Plastic Surgery, No Scar Endoscopic Breast Augmentation, No Scar Belly Button Abdominoplasty, HiDefinition Liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift and Asian Cosmetic Surgery.[3]
Ching's clientele includes entertainers, celebrities and business executives and is spread across Honolulu, Dubai and Kuwait.[4] He specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic plastic surgery and has been continuously ranked as one of the best doctors of America from 2011. Education
Born in Kobe, Japan, Ching completed BSc in Biology and MSc in Neuroscience from McGill University in 1993. In 1994, he then attended University of British Columbia to complete his MD. Thereafter, he completed his residency at McMaster University, Hamilton.
Career
Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ching is best known as the plastic surgeon in Hawaii and nationwide. He is a double board certified plastic surgeon, who practices advanced plastic surgeries in Honolulu, Dubai and Kuwait. He founded Asia Pacific Plastic Surgery Inc. in 2005 to offer most advanced techniques to provide state of art cosmetic surgery.
After several successful procedures, Ching 's practice flourished and he has been named for operating the largest practice in the state of Hawaii. He is affiliated with a number of hospitals including Queen’s Medical Center, Castle Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, and Kuakini Hospital.[5]
