Shana Sanders (born July 16) is an Emmy Award-winning content manager, digital marketing strategist, brand manager, and creative director who is best known for her skills in multimedia development, broadcast video production, brand development, digital marketing, instructional design, and leading various creative processes.[1]

Early life and education

Sanders was born on July 16th in Cleveland, Ohio, the United States. She pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati.[2] Thereafter, she attended Full Sail University to do her Master of Science, Instructional Design and Technology.[3]

Career

Sanders began her professional journey as a media planner at WHB Consultants, where she worked for twelve years, before moving on to The 85 South Show as a brand activation manager.[4] Shana also gave her services as an instructor in the educational technology realm in multiple Title I Public Schools. In addition to instructing students, Shana is the Creative Director of Bold Creative Brand a subsidiary of Consequence Media Group where she serves as Chief Executive Officer.[5]

Bold Creative Brand is a consulting agency providing branding services,on a local and national level focused on graphic design, web design, photography, and film for creative fields. She is also enrolled in Cloud Architecture Training to diversify her technology skills.[6]

Shana’s personal brand, Shana Digital, came into being from her helping a client build her eco-friendly, sustainable clothing brand using her brand strategies and marketing tools.[7]

Philanthropy

Sanders is also a philanthropist who supports social issues like the digital divide, health, and poverty alleviation. She has volunteered for the American Cancer Society and Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless.[8]

Sanders is also the founder of a non-profit company called We Create Tech that provides a platform for black and brown students in underrepresented communities to learn about coding with music, technology, film production, and virtual worlds.[9]

  • 2004: Sanders won the Emmy Award in the category of ‘Public Affairs’ issued by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
  • 2007: Sanders was named one of the Emmy nominees (Coretta Scott King Funeral Service) issued by the Television Programming Excellence Category
  • 2008: Sanders won the award for the Best Journalism Program issued by CBS Atlanta
  • 2009: Sanders was nominated for Emmy Awards issued by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
  • 2014: Sanders was honored by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences in the category of Music Video.
  • 2023: Yotpo Amazing Women in eCommerce Nominee
