Sadiq Daniel (born January 7, 1999) is an Irish ex-international basketball player and entrepreneur born in Republic of Ireland. Sadiq has launched Baseline Kickz,[1] a luxury e-commerce website Sourcing business model and supplying high-end clothing and accessories. His parents are both of Nigerian heritage and he was born in Dublin where he also grew up.
Early life
His parents are originally from Lagos, Nigeria. In 1997, his mother Juliet Daniel moved to Ireland. Daniel was born in the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland and grew up in Clondalkin where his mother relocated to raise him and his two younger sisters. His parents separated in 2005.
In 2012, Daniel was introduced to basketball and joined Dublin Lions under coach Michael White, Moyle Park College. White, who was holding tryouts and needed extra players of his height and size and was impressed by him. Daniel soon joined Dublin Lions, with whom he learned how to play basketball and quickly improved his knowledge of the game. In the summer of 2014, he went to the United States, Philadelphia in the hopes of securing a scholarship through the National Basketball Association, 76ers camp.[2]
Daniel competed at international level for Basketball Ireland in 2015 having played for the U17's Development squad[3] and the U18's Irish team and was Cap (sport) on both teams. Having played against Wales and England as well as Luxembourg. He has also competed under FIBA 3x3 basketball,[4] international games and in Dublin.

Personal life
Daniel is currently in a relationship with Irena Drezi[6][7] a professional Model (person) and Internet celebrity.
