Anthony Edward Caruso (born January 9, 1991), better known by the stage name SEASICKWAVY, is an American musical artist, singer, songwriter, and barber. He is known for his hit singles "Pesos" featuring KAP G & "Hold Me Down" featuring Daddex, co-signed by Layzie Bone at 18 to open for his first show. SEASICKWAVY's work is inspired by his life and the tough conditions he saw during his early life. His acting talent was noticed, and in 2016, he was signed by an acting agency.[1]

Born in Long Beach, CA, SEASICKWAVY has been writing poems and lyrics from a very young age, inspiring him to start his music career. He has also been seen on the U.S. X Factor premiere on FOX in 2011. In 2012, SEASICKWAVY received his Barbers license for the state of California. His music is available on several digital music streaming platforms such as SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Shazam, TIDAL, iHeart, Deezer and others.

During his career, he has performed live on several shows and has opened for several renowned artists, including Rich Boy, Waka Flocka, Sugar Free, Mike Jones, Bone Thugs, Gucci Mane, and several others.

Biography

SEASICKWAVY was born Anthony Edward Caruso on January 9, 1991, in Long Beach, CA. His mother is Italian, and his father is Hawaiian. His mom raised him, and he only saw his dad by visiting him in prison. SEASICKWAVY learned to read and write from sending and receiving letters from his father, who got out and never came around due to drug abuse. His mother was verbally and physically abusive and declared 51/50 at one point after multiple suicide attempts, which led to SEASICKWAVY's significant emotional transitions. He turned his experiences into songs, including one of his most popular tracks, "Jiminy Cricket," where pieces of his history were brought to life.

After being discovered and turning down tons of labels, he decided to stay independent, created a name for himself, and did many tours on the west coast with widely notable artists, such as Wiz Khalifa, Blackbear, 24kgoldn & Lil Peep. He went from living in mobile homes as a kid with no food to support himself to buying a house in Irvine, CA and making six figures. His life changed dramatically through hard work and consistency. Despite what people said, he never gave up.
