Robert Brockway is an American comedy and horror author from Portland, Oregon, known for his work as a writer and editor on Cracked.com.[1] He is also known for his Vicious Circuit trilogy published by Tor Books.[2]

Writing career

Robert Brockway began writing at Cracked.com in 2007,[3] where he later became a senior editor and a screenwriter for Cracked After Hours[4] and Agents of Cracked.[4] It was during this time he published his first books, Everything Is Going to Kill Everybody (2010) and the Rx trilogy, as well as appearing in various publications like Car and Driver[5] and Jalopnik.[6] After leaving Cracked, Brockway published The Unnoticeables (2015), the first in the Vicious Circuit trilogy. The novel was well-received[7][8] and was the author's breakthrough as a horror writer, with him appearing on a horror-writers panel at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.[9] In 2020, Brockway cofounded the comedy website 1-900-HOTDOG[10] with former Cracked colleague Seanbaby and published the cosmic horror novel Carrier Wave, which was been optioned for TV.
