Rian Walker (Born February 4, 1989) is an American e-Commerce strategy expert, marketing and sales professional, helping companies in meeting their digital marketing and internal structure development needs.[1] Walker currently serves as eCommerce Solutions' chief technology officer and Upturn's chief executive officer.[2]
Education
Walker was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended Lincoln High School and later graduated from Portland State University. Walker also holds over 12 certifications from Lynda.com in google analytics, content marketing, email marketing, SEO fundamentals, internet marketing, brand building, AdWords, jQuery, and others.
Career
Walker started his career in 2006 as a customer care representative at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, assisting customers over email, phone, or in person with their rental car needs.[3]
In 2008, Walker joined eCommerce Solutions as its chief technology officer. At eCommerce Solutions, Walker provides solutions for customer personalization, data collection, SMS-based marketing, search engine marketing, and omnichannel retailing on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Some notable clients Walker is known to have worked with include Dicks Sporting Goods, Home Depot, Amazon, and Columbia Sportswear.
In January 2020, Walker joined Upturn as the chief executive officer.[4] Upturn offers advanced marketing solutions to cannabis dispensaries to improve customer retention and engagement.[5]
Before commencing his career in eCommerce, Walker was an exceptional golfer who briefly competed on the Godaddy Tour as a semi-professional.
