Resmi R Nair is a model and women's rights activist from Kerala, India. She was the co-founder and spokesperson of Kiss of Love protest.

Personal life

Resmi R Nair was born to Ramachandran Nair and Radhamani Amma at Kollam district of Kerala. Her father was an army man and mother a teacher. Resmi did her schooling in the native town itself. After pursuing the Engineering graduation in ECE, she worked

for an IT company. Later,she got married to Rahul PS and the couple has got two kids namely Dwarak and Nangeli.[1]

Career as an activist

Resmi R Nair was the co-founder and spokesperson of Kiss of Love.[2] Kiss of Love was a non violent protest against moral policing. It was started as a social media campaign by Resmi R Nair following a series of moral policing incidents.[3] Later this group sparked off the movement to cease such diabolical activities that questioned the morality. Resmi along with her husband organised the protest in Kochi.[4][5][6] After Kochi, a series of protests rose up across Kerala. Then it got turned into a nation wide protest with the participation of students from different Universities in India.[7][8][9][10] Resmi is still active on social media through her political statements and interferences.[11][12]

Career as a model

In 2010, Resmi quit her career as an IT professional. Following that, she started the modelling career in Chennai. She made her presence felt in many National magazines. Later she appeared in some International magazines including Playboy. Resmi was also a finalist in Playboy's Miss Social Contest 2014.[13] It was for the first time, a model from Kerala achieving such a feat.[14][15] This earned her popularity among the public. Now, she releases premium contents through platforms like Patreon.[16][17]
