Remody Records is an Irish record label founded and established by Irish singer-songwriter and producer Chris Haze. First established as Chris Haze Music in 2012, the label was rebranded early 2020,[1] it differs from most independent record companies by allowing artists and producers full creative control. Its first hit record arrived in 2017. Remody Record is currently distributed by and partnered with ONErpm|OneRPM.

History

2012–2020 establishment – rebranding

Originally the record label was set up and first established in 2012 to served as a one man record label that could maintain control of its projects and masters independently and went under the name, Chris Haze Music. During this time the record label secured a number of Irish charting positions.[1] In 2020 the label was Rebranding|rebranded as Remody Records along with the launch of its sister companies Remody Music Publishing and Remody Productions.[2]

Significant releases

In 2017 Chris Haze's We Are One EP debuted at number 31 on the Irish Albums Chart|Official Irish Album charts and Number 2 on the Official Irish Independent charts.[3]

In addition to this, the record label released "Say Goodbye", Haze's follow up single in 2017 which aired on Radio Stations all over Ireland and became one of the most played Irish songs on Irish radio the week of its release on Radiomonitor.

In 2019 Remody Records announced the release of Chasing Rivers EP again from their founder Chris Haze which went to to debut in the Top 10 of the Irish Album Charts. The EP reached number 1 on the Irish Singer-songwriter chart and has been in the Top 10 of the Irish Singer-Songwriter chart since it's release in 2019.

Released in 2020 "Slow Down" by Dutch duo Mohtiv featuring Chris Haze was released as the label's first dance record. "Slow Down" secured the record label their first Top 10 Dance release on the Irish iTunes charts.

The Independent label also released another EP from Chris Haze entitled 'Time And Space' as well as another single called 'REMODY'. [4]

In 2021 Remody Records released "WDGAF" by Chris Haze which secured the label their first Official Irish Charting release with "WDGAF" appearing at Number 17 on the Official Irish Homegrown Top 20[5]. which is compiled by the Official Charts Company. [6]
