Rebecca L. Roby is an American attorney and corporate legal executive specializing in intellectual property, advertising, marketing, and commercial law. She has advised multinational consumer brands on trademark strategy, brand protection, advertising compliance, risk management, and commercial transactions. Roby has held senior legal leadership roles across the consumer products and retail sectors.
Education and Career
Throughout her career, Roby has held legal leadership positions with consumer-facing companies, including Ulta Beauty, Red Bull, and Hard Rock International.[1] Her work has focused on managing domestic and international trademark portfolios, protecting intellectual property rights, supporting marketing and advertising initiatives, negotiating commercial agreements, and advising organizations on emerging legal and regulatory issues.[2] Roby has more than two decades of experience in intellectual property and commercial law.[3]
In 2026, Roby joined Warshawsky Law Group, where she advises franchising businesses on trademark registration and enforcement, brand protection, intellectual property strategy, advertising law, and commercial matters.[4] She has also participated in industry discussions and speaking engagements related to trademark law, brand management, and advertising compliance.
Roby earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College and a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law.[5]

Roby is based in Orlando, Florida.[7] Outside of her legal career, she enjoys pickleball, spending time with her French Bulldogs, and supporting her daughter's equestrian activities.[8]
